About Us

A.P. Vehicle Services (East Anglia) LTD, formerly Bob Amiss Motor Vehicle Technicians, is an independent motor vehicle repair workshop located on Mousehold Lane in Norwich. 

 

Alex Payne, who worked for Bob for 13 and a half years, took over ownership of the garage in October 2022.

We have 3 technicians in the workshop, starting with Bob, who has 40 plus years of experience under his belt. We also have Alex, who has taken charge of the workshop. Alex has 17 years of experience to his name and looking to add many more years to that. Finally we have Ryan. Ryan joined the team in February 2023 and has been working on cars for a few years whilst gaining his qualifications. We also have Tina, our service manager in reception. Tina takes phone calls, makes bookings and interacts with customers face to face.

We offer manufacturer specification servicing as well as our own specification of servicing, MOT's arranged, steering and suspension, brakes, exhausts, air conditioning servicing and system repairs, diagnostics and fault finding, batteries, starting and charging systems. Both Ryan and Alex are trained in EV and Hybrid vehicles. A courtesy car is available upon request and subject to availability.
